I can honestly say I can’t even remember ever going to the circus as a child however Ringling Bros & Barnum Bailey is a name everyone knows! I have three little ones and they have never experienced the circus before but it’s definitely something they would love !
March 19, 2017 at 8:16 pm
You def need to go if you never have!
March 19, 2017 at 7:41 pm
I can remember going to the circus as a child and feeling complete awe at the sights and sounds of it all. The tight rope walkers were my favorite, and I remember pretending to walk the “tight rope” on the playground (it was really the edge of the sandbox). I would love my family to get to experience that one last time!

Wow what a memory, thank you for sharing

I remember when the big top came to the local mall. My mother drove me to school that day so we could stop and watch them raise the tent. I remember riding an elephant that night when we went to the show.
This is a great contest thanks!

It has been YEARS since I’ve been to this show. It makes me sad that my teen won’t see it. I haven’t been able to take him due to finances, unfortunately.
March 19, 2017 at 9:11 pm
I remember being awestruck by the trapeze artists, so high up in the air, swinging back and forth, faster and faster, and letting GO!
March 19, 2017 at 9:13 pm
I am so sad about the end of this era. I hope to see them one more time before the end.
March 20, 2017 at 11:41 am
So sorry kids can’t watch this show in the future… seems so colorful and funny, perfect for them.
March 20, 2017 at 2:06 pm
It is sad that it’s their last show
March 20, 2017 at 1:52 pm
I still have the magazine-like program from when my parents took me and my brother in the 1980’s. At that show I had decided that I wanted to be a trapeze artist. That never happened, but I did take a trapeze class in DC in 2010 (or so) and had a blast. Perhaps I should have joined the circus;-)
March 20, 2017 at 2:05 pm
That would be so cool to take a trapeze class!

I remember going to the circus when I was about 9 in Madeira and it was amazing. I last saw a circus show last year which was good x

The Ringling Brothers Circus is such a fun show and experience! I was able to go a couple years ago and had a great time, so sad to see it go after all these years.

I remember going to a circus when I was a kid. I kept getting worried about people getting hurt. The animals were so cool to see though.
March 20, 2017 at 5:56 pm
That looks like a great show! It’s a pity that was the last one!
March 20, 2017 at 6:16 pm
I have mixed feelings about them closing. I did enjoy the circus when I was a little girl.
March 20, 2017 at 7:22 pm
Sad to hear this is closing soon. Acrobats and circus performers are incredibly strong it always fascinated me!
March 20, 2017 at 7:23 pm
I remember going as a kid with my mom. I loved seeing all of the animals at the time.
March 20, 2017 at 7:32 pm
Wow looks absolutely amazing. Can honestlt say Ive never seem camels at a circus, that was a surprise!
March 20, 2017 at 8:10 pm
I went to the circus once as a child – animals are so smart. I now prefer going to Cirque du Soleil shows, especially since they are based in my hometown of Montreal!
March 20, 2017 at 8:16 pm
I wish this were closer. I’d so take my kids to see it. What a great show!
March 20, 2017 at 9:01 pm
I have not watched anything like this. It would be an awesome experience to be part of the audience.
March 20, 2017 at 9:06 pm
I am so sad to see this. I grew up just down the street from the Ringling winter grounds, and my mother would drive past the place where they kept the elephants every morning taking me to school. It was always a huge excitement for me to drive by and see the handlers out walking with the animals. And I hate that … the circus is a way of life for the people who work there. It’s a culture, a family business. It’s sad that that’s ending.
March 20, 2017 at 10:59 pm
Wow! The theme is awesome! I am curious as to how they’re going to combine space and the circus. It’s really interesting!
March 20, 2017 at 11:02 pm
It sure would be nice to see this show live! It’s quite sad that this is going to be their last show. I hope that I get to catch it, I’m really interested in seeing how it all plays out!
March 20, 2017 at 11:30 pm
I am so sad that they are closing up shop after being around for so long. I wish I would have been able to see them when they were in my area, but sadly I missed them. I hope that you have fun when they come to DC!
March 21, 2017 at 12:51 am
OMG this is amazing! I wish they could tour here in Manila, just like the Cirque Le Soliel team 🙂 We love this kind of performances. 🙂

March 21, 2017 at 1:39 pm
Circus was not that popular with the kids nowadays. They must see something as magical as this performers.
March 21, 2017 at 3:04 pm
I remember going as a kid and loved it! Sad to see them go, but understandable considering the news around them!
March 21, 2017 at 9:15 pm
Is it weird that I never went to a Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus show? It looks like so much FuN! Now this is their final show. =(
March 21, 2017 at 11:14 pm
