Details: Celebrate the 286th birthday of America’s greatest Founding Father, George Washington. Activities will include:
11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. A first person 18th century interpreter, James Cameron, will be portraying John Robinson, a free African American who knew and associated with most of the prominent Virginians of the time, including George Washington. The programs will last 45 minutes each.
1:00 p.m. Cake cutting at the Historic Log House
Cooking in the Colonial Kitchen and blacksmithing demonstrations in the Craft Shop will also be offered from 10:00-4:00.
