    Details: My favorite thing to do in the fall is visit a local farm. Nothing is more fun than going for a hayride, getting lost in a corn maze or picking the perfect pumpkin. See the Fall Guide for a list of farms and events happening this fall. Many of the farms are opening on weekends only; however, some are opening during the week day. See the Fall Guide for a list of farms and events happening this fall. Many of the farms are opening on weekends only; however, some are opening during the week day. You could also schedule a visit with a few friends or group for week day fun. A few that are always open to the public on weekdays include: Cox, Greenstreet & Montpelier.

    Local families are invited to celebrate Halloween at St. Charles Towne Center’s Mall-O-Ween & BooFest. On October 31 from 5PM – 9PM, come dressed in your Halloween costume for four hours of family fun!

    Grab your entry bracelet and candy bag (allergy aware treat bags will also be available) at the event entrance (lower level near former Ruby Tuesday, between Macy’s & Sears) then Trick-or-Treat around the mall.

    Play FREE carnival games (with prizes) in Sears court, create FREE Make & Take crafts in Center Court, watch FREE animated Halloween movies (with free popcorn) in Kohl’s Court and be amazed at the FREE Mad Science Spooktacular Halloween show taking place in Macy’s Home Store Court.

    Our photo booth will be available to commemorate the event with a selfie and our event photographers will be there to document the night. All activities are FREE. The first 200 parents/guardians will receive a FREE St.Charles Towne Center or Simon tote bag.

You could also schedule a visit with a few friends or group for week day fun. A few that are always open to the public on weekdays include: Cox, Greenstreet & Montpelier.

Bring your own pumpkins to be recycled, or help us dispose of our extras! At 4:30 each day, we’ll drop one of our prize-winning giant pumpkins weighing in at over 1,000 lbs.     Celebrate and honor all who have served our country in our hands-on Veteran’s Day focused workshop. You and your child can build a custom model military helicopter to spark a conversation with a Veteran about fighting large fires, moving troops, getting supplies to ships and transporting patients. Once the “helo” build is complete, your child can decorate it with paint and stickers. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron, and pin.
