The weekend of November 5 and 6, 2022 will once again witness American militia forces at Point Lookout during the War of 1812. The event is sponsored by Point Lookout State Park, Maryland Park Service and hosted by The Friends of Point Lookout, Inc. Saturday is open to the public 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Civilian and military volunteers will interpret life and events during the
War of 1812 in St. Mary’s County. Small arms and cannon firing demonstrations of the period will be included along with other exhibits.

Service Charges
Standard park service charge to enter the Park, but the event is free.
Maryland residents $3 per vehicle
Out-of-State residents $5 per vehicle.
Pass holders, Active duty military, Veterans, and Children in baby or booster seats free.
