Location: Alice Ferguson Foundation

Details: The Alice Ferguson Foundation invites you to a volunteer at Hard Bargain Farm! Join us in the Children’s Garden from 10:00am to 12:00 pm on the third Saturday of each month, March through August (Please note: April’s date is the FIRST Saturday of the month). The Children’s Garden is a space we use to teach schoolchildren about plants and where their everyday food comes from. We will dig in and help this outdoor classroom grow.

    HANDS ON HISTORY

    Details: Butter churning, candle-making, and yarn-spinning–see the skills and trades of 1770 in action, led by local experts and educators in historic costume.

    Demonstrations are free to attend and are ongoing between 1-5 pm on select weekend dates.

    This weekend’s Hands-On History demonstration is: Colonial Cooking

    Learn how to cook easy colonial recipes!

    Details: Mathnasium of Waldorf and Chick-fil-A of Waldorf have partnered to offer free homework help to students in grades 2-12.
