ROBOTICS COMPETITION HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUES

Location: College of Southern Maryland (PE and BI Buildings)

Details: Come out to cheer on your favorite team at this years CSM Robotics Challenge. This program was started in 2007 as one of the projects funded through the college’s National Science Foundation (NSF) grant. This event has grown over the years to become the premier robotics competition event in Southern Maryland. Only registered team members and coach are allowed in the arena. Spectators can watch the matches from the bleachers accessible from the second floor.

    Annual Montpelier Festival of Herbs, Tea, and the Arts

    Details: Welcome spring and delight in the sights and sounds of nature, art, and history at this fun festival for the entire family, hosted by Montpelier House Museum and Montpelier Arts Center. Visit with vendors on the grounds, relax to live music in the Music Tent, attend a talk on gardening, tour the house museum, and indulge in a Picnic Tea Box with finger sandwiches, pastries and a scone inside (available to order starting April 1). At the Arts Center, you can see exhibits, visit artists’ studios, watch demos, and attend a live performance.

    Starting April 1st through April 25th, 2024, picnic Tea Boxes with finger sandwiches, a scone, pastries, and tea will be available for purchase. Boxes Must Be Picked Up At The Festival.
