The Town of La Plata is hosting summer concerts May-September every Friday at 7PM weather permitting. The weekly concerts take place outside on the lawn at La Plata Town Hall; so bring your lawn chairs or blankets for sitting. Feel free to pack a cooler (no alcohol permitted) or enjoy concession from local vendors.  Your little ones will have a ball in the kid’s zone which allows parents to enjoy the concert while keeping an eye on the kiddos. The town provides bubbles, chalk, hula hoops and balls. Don’t forget to bring a bathing suit or extra change of clothes since the splash pad is turned on. With a variety of music styles ranging from oldies to country or jazz to classic rock there is something for everyone. A little bit about RESOUND:
"From classical to gospel, this trio is best known for their unique and skillful a cappella arrangements. Joseph Clarke, Jessica Fox & Mariah Hargrove make up the Richmond, VA based trio, RESOUND. Their mission is to encourage and provoke individuals to share their God-given gifts and talents with others, just as they have.

Resound has been blessed with opportunities spanning from the Festival of Praise Tour with Donnie McClurkin and Fred Hammond to singing live on Good Morning America. Their beautifully arranged acapella harmonies and impeccable blend have caught the attention of both Christian and secular artists such as John P. Kee, JJ Hairston, David Crowder, Ariana Grande and Zendaya to name a few."
