    HOME SCHOOL DAY

    Location: Calvert Marine Museum & Annmarie Sculpture Garden

    Details: The Calvert Marine Museum (CMM) and Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center (AMG) are joining forces again to bring Homeschool Day to Solomons on Monday, March 25, 2019. This year’s theme is Celebrate Maryland! Programs are designed for students in grades K-5, but all ages can discover something new. All activities are included with CMM and AMG admission.

    Students can expect to spend the day learning about Maryland and its symbols. A morning session will take place at CMM from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. AMG will have lunch space from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Afterwards, participants are invited to continue Homeschool Day activities 3 p.m. BINGO cards will be available upon check-in at CMM. Students will complete their cards by looking for items at both locations, and return it to AMG for the chance to win a prize.

    Pre-registration is not required for Homeschool Day.

    Details: You and your child are invited to meet us at the Greenwell Foundation, every Tuesday morning, for outdoor discoveries and learning, from September to May. Activities include: Sensory Play, Games, Songs, Art, Music, Stories, Seasonal Activities, Dance, and More. Age Group: up to 6 years old
    Cost: $5 per child
    Registration: Not required. Children attend with their adult
    Directions: Enter Greenwell State Park on Rosedale Manor Drive, go straight on the gravel, dirt road, between the fields, and take your first right. Park in the lot straight ahead and look for us in the outdoor classroom on the left.
