Details: Public event, free to the community. A fire prevention program including different fire prevention topics along with a tour of the Mechanicsville. Vol. Fire Depart. The tour includes hands on with our apparatus , trying on fire equipment. A light snack will be served, fire prevention goodies will also be provided. Date: 1st Saturday of each month
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: HOME DEPOT - WALDORF
Details: Create your own wooden project each month. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

SOUTHERN MARYLAND HERITAGE FESTIVAL
Details: October 7th & 8th – We will be hosting a new 2 day event that will represent Southern Maryland at its finest! There will be unique artisans, cultural foods, a variety of spirits, live music, demos, childrens activities and family fun to be had by all.
Discounted tickets will be available for advance purchase for the general public, with special discounts for Historic Sotterley members. Your ticket purchase can be used for one entry on either day of Saturday or Sunday and covers entry to the event only. Food & drink are available for purchase.
