EARLY LEARNING EVENT

Details: The first Early Learning Launch event is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 21 at La Plata High School. The event provides resources for families with children who are 5 years and younger. Resources include school readiness activities for parents and children. Community partners also will be on site to share additional resources for children ages birth to 5.
During the Early Learning Launch, parents with children who will be 4 years old by Sept. 1 can complete an application for prekindergarten. Parents with children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1 can also register their child for kindergarten.
