Details: Prepare for launch at the #calvertREADS fun-filled space-themed community festival! Don’t miss the immersive, interactive StarLab planetarium. Watch the eyes of both kids and adults light up when they enter this inflatable experience! Sign-up for an entry time for the StarLab beginning May 18. Southern MD Astronomy Club will share their sun telescopes, along with so many more FUN activities! All ages can register for #calvertREADS 2019 and help the community read 60,000 books and start earning chances for prizes! FREE #calvertREADS T-SHIRTS TO EVERYONE WHO ATTENDS (while supplies last). Annual Montpelier Festival of Herbs, Tea, and the Arts

Details: Welcome spring and delight in the sights and sounds of nature, art, and history at this fun festival for the entire family, hosted by Montpelier House Museum and Montpelier Arts Center. Visit with vendors on the grounds, relax to live music in the Music Tent, attend a talk on gardening, tour the house museum, and indulge in a Picnic Tea Box with finger sandwiches, pastries and a scone inside (available to order starting April 1). At the Arts Center, you can see exhibits, visit artists’ studios, watch demos, and attend a live performance.

Starting April 1st through April 25th, 2024, picnic Tea Boxes with finger sandwiches, a scone, pastries, and tea will be available for purchase. Boxes Must Be Picked Up At The Festival.
