The weather outside is frightful but the Parks and Recs pass is so delightful. As the weather turns cold, indoor play options are very desirable this time of year. Our family has found that the drop-in programs through Charles County Park and Recreation (CCPR) are both inexpensive and fun. With the CCPR RecPASS family entertaining can be affordable!

WHAT IS A RECPASS

The RecPASS is an annual membership which allows for unlimited visits to any drop-in programs at school-based community centers, the Port Tobacco Recreation Center, Waldorf Senior and Recreational Center, and Elite Gymnastics and Recreation Center. A pool membership may be added for unlimited use of Charles County Recreation Department operated indoor and outdoor aquatic facilities.

Drop-in programs currently include swimming admission, basketball, futsal, volleyball, pickleball, and table tennis. Program offerings may vary based on location. Participants without a RecPASS membership will be able to pay a daily drop-in fee to take part in their desired program. RecPASS members will receive a key-fob when purchasing their membership, which will be linked to the Recreation Division’s registration software. At each visit, the key-fob will be scanned for admission.

Youth under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult when using a Recreation + Pool Pass at all aquatic facilities. Additional charges and registration still apply for instructor-led programs and activities within each center.
