Greenstreet is a serene garden located in Lothian, Maryland  with exquisite scenery.  Our family had the pleasure of visiting last weekend, and it was definitely a relaxing and fun getaway from daily stress. Greenstreet Gardens definitely hosts the most beautiful fall festival in Maryland.  Here’s a look at what makes this farm unique and a must visit this fall season.

After checking in, you will walk through the garden shop, where you are surrounded by planted flowers and an adorable pumpkin collection.  The patio has plenty of comfortable seats for nursing baby or just relaxing.  The décor and accessories definitely were inspirational for my patio and garden at home.

One of the first things I like about this farm is that it doesn’t feel over crowded even when busy; they have a great way of dividing up activity areas to keep the flow of the festivities balanced. At the front of the farm you will find the food truck, face painting, cow train, and barn animals. The food is very tasty, so come hungry. The grill offers hot dogs, ham burgers and sausages. Kids meals were under $6. The cow train is a fun tractor and barrel ride that goes up and down little hills and through an obstacle course of hay bales with cute scarecrows on display. While at the front of the farm be sure to take to time to pet and feed the adorable farm animals. Make sure that if you want a cup of feed that you purchase it at check-in so you don’t have to back track.

This year you will walk down to the back of the farm to get to the rest of the activities. Take a family photo on the giant wooden swing before heading down to the festivities. There is so much to do in the back section: giant jumping pillow, tire course, sensory corn pit, pumpkin bowling, tunnel slide, wooden tractor play ground, straw maze and corn maze. Also, be sure to take advantage of the photo opportunities; teepee, giant rocking chair or fun photo stations.

Don’t miss out on venturing through the corn maze. Navigate your way out of the maze to the back right exit and you will be able to step out for some extra fun activities. There are some fun obstacle courses, spider web, swings, and brand new tricycle course. Once you make your way back to the main section of the farm don’t forget to take a tractor ride around the farm.
