On the eleventh day of Christmas The Playful Parent gave away, Strike the board game.  Ravensburgers motto “Enjoyment. Education. Togetherness. Since 1883,” truly explains what their games are all about. Some of the best games we have on our shelf are by this famous and fabulous company. Villainous is wicked fun but we also enjoy El Dorado. I’m super excited they were able to send us a copy of Strike!

ABOUT THE GAME

Strike is an excellent family game designed for two to five players ages 8 and up. This game plays a lot like Yatzee with a battle twist. In this battle of luck, throw your dice into the arena in the attempt to gain more dice. You can strike other dice to change their faces and than collect matching sets.  However, watch out…if you roll an X, your die is completely removed from the game!  The last player with dice wins the game!  Our family found this game to be a lot of fun. Since it is easy to learn and doesn’t have a lot of complicated rules, even my six year old caught on fast and enjoyed playing. This is the perfect game for when you want a low key game night. The board game comes in classic play or a Harry Potter Series. To learn more about this game or to add it to your board game collection visit Ravensburger’s website.
