On the seventh day of Christmas The Playful Parent gave away, a Exit game by Thames and Kosmos. This puzzle packed game is nothing like I have ever played before. The closest thing I can compare Exit to is a real-life escape room adventure in a box. Everything you need for your escape experience is included in one tiny box.

THE GAME

This award winning game has over a dozen unique series to chose from, each with a different theme and riddles to solve. With each title you can immerse yourself into a world of imagination. Each Exit series is a standalone experience and is meant to only be played once. We have played The Enchanted Forest and Cemetery of the Knight. Each one has a different skill level so be sure to check the box to see the recommended age, game play time and difficulty level. No matter which scenario you play, every Exit game comes with three stacks of cards: red Riddle cards, blue Answer cards, and green Help cards. Also, included is a book and a decoder disk. As well as other unique items. The goal of the game is to solve all the riddles in order to “exit” aka escape! I recommend this game for a at home date night or for families with older children ages 10 and up due to the complicated problem solving skills needed.
