The Playful Parent is a non-profit that provides free resources and programming to the community. One of the biggest outreach programs of the year is the summer camp fair; held to provide information on summer camps and activities that will keep young minds active. Last year over 150 families attended the event and were able to collect information from more than 20 different camps and organizations. This year The Playful Parent has partnered with Charles County Parks & Recreation to bring the best Summer Camp Fair Charles County has yet to see. CCPR will be co-hosting the fair at their new facility the Waldorf Senior & Creation Center. There will be music, food vendors and fun activities for kids of all ages. Collect information on summer programming from camps all over the county and test out fun activities with the kids.

SUMMER CAMP FAIR DETAILS

Details: The Playful Parent in partnership with Charles County Parks and Recreation is hosting it’s 3rd Annual Family Summer Camp & Activity Fair on Monday March 9, 2020. This event is being held to help connect families to summer resources in Charles County. Come out to collect information on summer programs, this year there will also be free fun activities to keep little ones busy, food trucks and door prizes. The first 100 hundred families will receive a swag bag.
