Tucked away in a small shopping center in Solomons Island, is where you will find Southern Maryland’s newest hidden treasure. Imaginarium is a 6,000 sq. ft. indoor play center designed for children ages 1 to 10 years old. This fun and creative space empowers kids to make-believe in an environment that promotes play, creativity, inspiration and imagination. Parents and kids will be excited to hear that the grand opening for the Imaginarium is set for this weekend on October 9, 2019. This guide was written to provide information on this new wonderful resource and encourage families to get out and have some fun. CREATING THE PERFECT PLACE TO PLAY

I don’t say this lightly when I say, I have had the honor of meeting Lanet, the Director of Imaginarium and she is truly an inspiration! Based on her educational back ground, years of experience as a teacher and understanding as a mother; she combined her talents, knowledge and expertise to bring something to Southern Maryland that was desperately needed. The owner and facilities manager are also a huge blessing and contribution to the opening of Imaginarium.  Both Tim and Jimmy are local dads who understand the needed for family activities and building the community. It has been a lot of fun to stop in and see the building progress, as this dream comes to life. A lot of hard work and love has been put into this and it shows. I loved seeing all the pictures of Jimmy’s handwork, as he constructed the different pieces for the center. I was blown away by the craftmanship of the wooden play structures and gorgeous murals on the wall (all hand painted by local artists.) Families have been asking for an indoor play space for their little’s and it’s finally here, thanks to amazing team effort!

Pricing &Packages
Imaginarium offers a variety of different play options; from drop-in free play to birthday parties and field trips to group play-dates, there are many opportunities to enjoy indoor fun.
Drop-in Admission is for a Full Day of Play! Pay and stay as long as you’d like.  Admission rates include up to 2 parents/guardians for FREE. Secured infants, if with a paid sibling admission, are free.
  • $13 for first child
  • $8 per sibling
  • Additional adults $5 each
  • Adults with secured infant (no other children) are $5

If you will be a frequent flier you may want to consider a membership package. Membership options.

  • 30 Day Pass: Includes unlimited drop-in play! 10% discount on all birthday packages and access to special member only events. Single Child 30-day Pass: $52/Family 30-day Pass (for up to 4 children):  $84
  • 90 Day Pass: Includes drop-in play! 10 % discount on all birthday packages and access to special member only events. Single child 90-day Pass: $140/Family 90-Day Pass: $227.

Details: Come join the fun at the Imaginarium to celebrate over 2.5 years of hard work and planning at the GRAND OPENING this weekend! The official grand opening is Saturday, November 9th from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. There will be cupcakes until supplies run out and pirate themed goodies (until supplies run out) for the kiddos. Memberships will be running at 10% off for this one day only! There will also be doing a gift card giveaway! Free coffee and wifi for parents to enjoy!
