Bath time is more than just a quick cleanse.  It’s the perfect time to reflect, recuperate and relax. For parents and their little loved one, a bath can be a fun, relaxing ritual to connect and to discover. That’s why a day was created solely for celebrating bath time! International Bath Day is celebrated each year on June 14 and encourages parents to share bathtub bonding through interactivity, development, and fun.

How To Observe International Bath Day, June 14: According to ancient legend, on this day Greek mathematician, scientist, and scholar, Archimedes, discovered while taking a bath that an object’s volume could be accurately measured by being submerged in water! Unable to contain his excitement, Archimedes leapt out of the bathtub and yelled, “Eureka, Eureka!” while running through Greece. Like Archimedes, children can learn the basic properties of physics such as empty versus full, floating, sinking, weight, and cause and effect all while having FUN in the tub!
