All seven Charles County Public high schools have been working hard all fall to prepare for this seasons shows. It’s opening week for a few of the High Schools, so lets give them a lot of support. My entire family is a bunch of theater nerds. As you have probably heard before, my husband and I met through The Port Tobacco Players Theater over 18 years ago. I also met my lead craft editor Heather through PTP as well. Her husband is a theater teacher at St. Charles High School. As you can guess we are extremely excited about the hard work that all students have put into the productions around the county. It’s a great line up this fall and sure to be entertaining. TIPS
- Teachers with a badge get FREE admission. This is for employees only. DOES NOT include family members of employees.
- Many of these shows are family friendly. Keep in mind that every child is different, I recommend bringing children who have a developed attention span. Fall shows typically don’t have music and last about an hour and a half in length.
- Be prepared that if you see the last performance of the show there will be time spent at the end of the play to show appreciation to the director and production staff. This means after bows you might stay extra time to hear a speech or see flowers/gifts given out.
