GROUP MUSIC THERAPY

Group music therapy sessions are for children of all abilities to make music together while practicing social skills, communication skills, self-expression, and emotional awareness.  Music therapy groups include a variety of activities such as movement to music, instrument play, sing-a-longs, social games, songwriting, and sensory/relaxation activities.  Our music therapist designs activities that are developmentally appropriate and are tailored to meet the needs of all group members.  To register click  here!

INDIVIDUAL MUSIC THERAPY

Monday-Saturday, by appointment

Available for children ages 2+, teenagers, and adults

Music therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish therapeutic goals within a therapeutic relationship by a board certified music therapist.  A one-on-one music therapy session will look different for each child depending on their individualized goals.  These goals are determined during the start of music therapy through an assessment and through discussion with the child’s parent/guardian.  Goal areas may include social, communication, cognitive/academic, motor, emotional, and behavioral skills.  Our music therapist will facilitate music-based interventions designed to address your child’s goals.  Some examples of music interventions include improvisation, movement to music, instrument play, songwriting, musical games, sing-a-longs, lyric analysis, and sensory/relaxation activities.  Each session is tailored to the strengths and needs of your child, allowing them to grow and practice their skills through music.  Registration forms here.

​Adaptive Individual Music Lessons: Piano, Guitar, Ukulele

Monday-Saturday, by appointment

Available for children ages 4+, teenagers, and adults

Adaptive music lessons are offered in piano, guitar, and ukulele.  Adaptive lessons make learning an instrument accessible to students of all abilities.  If your child is interested in learning an instrument but may have struggled in traditional lessons due to behavioral, verbal, cognitive, or other difficulties, an adaptive lesson may be an option.  Our music therapist will be happy to discuss with you the best musical option for your child. Registration forms here.​

Individual Class Tuition:

  • 30 minute lessons for 34 weeks of instruction / 10 low monthly payments of $110 per month.

  • 45 minute lessons for 34 weeks of instruction / 10 low monthly payments of $140 per month.

  • Tuition will be prorated for those who join us later in the term.

  • Materials Fee: $140 per year, includes all music, recital fees, and other learning aids.

​Mrs. Georgia offer a 25% discount for those who take individual lessons for two separate instruments at Ms Georgia’s Creative Arts Academy! We also offer a 15% discount for those who pursue art classes in addition to individual music lessons. 25% discount applies to second set of individual lessons of equal or lesser value.
