SUMMER CONCERT SERIES- TOWN OF LA PLATA
The Town of La Plata is hosting summer concerts May-September every Friday at 7PM weather permitting. The weekly concerts take place outside on the lawn at La Plata Town Hall; so bring your lawn chairs or blankets for sitting. Feel free to pack a cooler (no alcohol permitted) or enjoy concession from local vendors. Your little ones will have a ball in the kid’s zone which allows parents to enjoy the concert while keeping an eye on the kiddos. The town provides bubbles, chalk, hula hoops and balls. Don’t forget to bring a bathing suit or extra change of clothes since the splash pad is turned on. RIVER CONCERT SERIES- ST MARYS
The 20th annual River Concert Series runs each Friday from June 22 – July 20 with the final concert on Saturday, July 21. Concerts are free and open to the public, beginning at 7 p.m. on Townhouse Green. Vendors for food and drink are on site. During the summer season, FREE concerts are held on the pavilion in North Beach, Maryland. You can hear a wide variety of music including rock and roll, country, jazz and oldies to name a few. KIDS SUMMER SHOWS- TOWN OF LA PLATA
The Town of La Plata will host five summer shows for kids at Town Hall. The shows are geared towards preschool and elementary age children and are approximately 45 minutes long. The shows are free and open to the public. Shows will be held outdoors on the West lawn where the Friday night concerts take place (weather permitting – shows will not be moved indoors). Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for sitting. No concessions will be available, but you are welcome to bring drinks and snacks along. 2018 Schedule:

The James E. CHESAPEAKE BEACH RAILROAD MUSEUM- SUMMER PROGRAMMING
Details: Summer Children’s Programs are held on select Thursdays from June through July on the porch of the Railway Museum.
