I’m sure for many readers making a trip to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia is either on your bucket list or you have already been at least once since it opened last March 2017. What’s neat about the LEGOLAND in Philadelphia is that the center is always changing. That means there is something new and different to come back to at your next visit. Today’s article highlights what’s springing up at LEGOland Discovery Center this Spring and summer.

ARCTIC ADVENTURE

Just this March 2018 LEGOLAND celebrated its first birthday with a brand new play exhibit, Arctic Adventure! This play experience immerses LEGO-lovers big and small into an arctic world that features a first of its kind interactive build table. This impressive mountain scene is equipped with digital interaction sensors and step by step arctic-themed LEGO builds.

My boys and I found the new exhibit to be lots of fun. It’s impressive with how the creators use a handful of sensory’s to create the ultimate experience. With just push of your finger you can go step by step to build a polar bear or snow mobile.  Look and listen close as you interact with the table; just by moving your hand over the top of the table the icy mountain scene comes to life with penguins, polar bears, seals, and motorized vehicles.

You won’t want to miss the amazing photo opportunity with the giant 6 foot polar bear made entirely out of LEGOs.

There is also a hands on opportunity to find hidden gems with a large conveyor belt that little’s can dig through pieces and  load on the conveyor belt. AA- GLOW

There are also beautiful glowing arctic crystals and watch the floor for cracking ice!

Keep in mind this display is located in the rotating aka special exhibit room and will be featured March 2018 until early 2019. So be sure to check it out this year before the swap. Our family got the chance to attend the opening celebration of Arctic Adventure. These images may look familiar from the live video I took about a month ago.
