Spring into fun at B&O Railroad Museum March through May this year. There are so many fun events that you wont want to miss out on any of them. I’m excited to put on my cowgirl boots and mosie on over to the Wild West Adventures. Celebrating trains and the wild west in one day is sure to be a big hit. How fun to pretend to be royalty for the day at Royal Adventure Days. To finish the spring season Thomas will roll into town. For more details about these three fun events see details below. WILD WEST ADVENTURES

WHEN:  Wednesday, March 28 – Saturday, March 31, (10am – 3pm)

WHERE:  B&O Railroad Museum

EVENT: This spring break kids can put on their cowboy hats and boots and join the B&O for a wild wonderful time! There’s bulls that need ropin’, bandits that need catchin’, ponies that need racin’, and much more fun to be had on the western frontier! Hands-on activities, games and crafts include:

  • Udder Painting
  • Pool Noodle Pony Racin’ Game
  • Tic-Tac-Toe Standoff Game
  • Sheriff Badge making
  • Hula Hoop Bull Ropin’ Game
  • Drawing Villain Wanted Posters

Cowboys & Cowgirls Story Time daily at 10:30am & 12pm featuring the story, Little Blue Truck by Alice Schertle and Jill McElmurry.

Mile One Express Train Rides: Wednesday – Friday at 11:30am and Saturday at 11:30am &2pm

Admission: $20 Adults, $17 Seniors (60+), $12 children (2-12)

Train Rides (with paid admission): $3 adults, $2 children Wild West Day at the B&O

ROYAL ADVENTURE DAYS

WHEN:  Saturday, April 7 (10am – 3pm) & Sunday, April 8 (11am – 3pm)

WHERE:  B&O Railroad Museum

EVENT: Kids journey to five royal kingdoms, where they participate in hands-on activities with some of their favorite fairy tale characters.  Activities include mining for gemstones, building a catapult, creating flying machines, learning archery, and building lanterns.

Royal Train Rides are also available on Saturdays at 11:30am, 12:30pm and 2pm and Sundays at 12 Noon and 2:30pm.

VIP Tickets include a 30 minute private event with the princesses  which includes a special craft, light refreshments, a custom designed tote bag and a royal escort to a private first class train ride on board the vintage Royal Blue Observation rail car. VIP experiences begin on Saturday at 11am, 12 Noon, and 1:30pm and Sunday at 11:30am & 2pm.

EVENT: Thomas the Tank Engine™ returns to the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore!  Little Engineers and families take a 25 minute train ride behind Thomas the Tank Engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, and enjoy a full day of live entertainment, activities, and family fun!
ADMISSION & TICKETS:
Tickets are $22 – $26. for ages 2 and up. Advance purchase is recommended. Ticket sales are final. Event is rain or shine.
