Once on This Island will sweep you away to an island across the sea, where in a small village the aftermath of a great storm brings to light a love story. In this tale, a young peasant girl Ti Moune falls in love with a wealthy boy Daniel from the other side of the island. When their divided cultures threaten to keep them apart, Ti Moune, guided by the island gods, sets out on a remarkable quest to reunite with the man who has captured her heart.

Does love conquer all…You will have to come out and see the show to find out how it ends. Just one word of advice bring a box of tissues.

I want to add a little bit about this particular production of Once On This Island. The students at St. Charles High School have worked hard to put this production together and it shows.  From the vibrant set bursting with Caribbean colors to the well choreographed rhythms and dance and the power house vocalist to the gorgeous costumes you are sure to be swept away, I know I was!
