The Playful Parent

I was over the moon that Tryazon chose The Playful Parent to host a Sago Mini Party. I was thrilled to have nine friends come out to play with the new toys. Everyone had fun playing with the three toys sets: Robins Road Trip, Jinja’s House and Harvey’s Spaceship. The party offered a great opportunity for social interaction and a chance to play with new toys. Everyone in attendance went home with a prize. The Sago Mini party set came with stickers, tattoos, free app codes and enough toys so that two lucky guests could go home with a new toy!

sago mini

Sago Mini is a team of designers, developers, builders, artists, thinkers, and doers that make fun apps and toys to delight both kids and parents around the world. “Kids are at the heart of what we do. And we love what we do.”

Proudly Canadian, Sago Mini is a subsidiary of Toca Boca, the No.1 mobile-first kids brand in the App Store. Both companies are part of Spin Master, a leading global children’s entertainment company that creates, designs, manufactures and markets a diversified portfolio of innovative toys, games, products and entertainment properties.

Robins Road Trip

Take a joyride with Robin’s Road Trip. You can connect the tiles any way you like- build a town, a long highway, or a winding road! Surprises pop-ups create destination all over town. Hope into the sleek roadster to visit the beach, park or pop by the gas station to fill’er up. Just like all of Sago Mini packaging, there’s a surprise inside….the box transforms into a cardboard car to take your toys out for a spin. This adorable set comes with: 1 large box that turns into a car, 12 foam floor tiles, 1 vehicle, 1 figurine, accompanied with sunglasses, scarf, suitcase and oil can.

Jinja’s House

Join Rosie on a play date at Jinja’s house. This adorable little house folds up and stores everything inside. It even has a handle to make is easy to grab and go! Take it on a trip to grandma’s, to a restaurant or over to a friend’s house. Where ever you go, Jinja and Rosie can come too! The set comes with: 1 house, 2 figurines, 1 bed, 1 arm chair, 1 table, 2 cups, 2 bowls, 1 slide and 1 ladder.

Harvey’s Spaceship

The countdown to fun is on in Harvey’s very own spaceship. Inspired by the Sago Mini Space Explorer app, Harvey is ready for blast off. Explore the ship’s different modules and open the hatch for more adventure. Take a spin in the UFO or surf comet tails on the hoverboard. Everything packs up inside and has a handle so you can play anywhere in the universe! Pieces for this set include: 1 spaceship, 1 figurine, 1 laptop,1 UFO,1 hoverboard,1 helmet, 1 flag and 1 dog bowl.

The award-winning Sago Mini Apps are perfect for preschoolers. I love that they can be played online or offline wherever you are, no internet necessary. It’s great to have a kid-friendly game the kids can play that doesn’t require purchasing or third-party advertising. The app is” open-ended. Safe. Pure Fun.” Just go to your apps store and type in: Sago Mini Friends.

I would like to start off by highlighting the Harvey’s Spaceship and Jinja’s House. These two sets are great because you can pack them up and store everything inside; making these toys perfect for on the go play. They are super easy to transport with built-in handles for carrying. I recommend this toy for ages three years and up since there are a few small parts that come with the set. My boy’s favorite set is the Robin’s Road Trip. They love putting the tiles together in different arrangements and driving the car along the road. My favorite part about Robin’s Road Trip is that the box it comes in can be turned into a car your little one can actually sit in. Everyone at the party enjoyed coloring the cardboard car!
