Climb aboard the Thomas & Friends(TM): Explore the Rails! Exhibit at Port Discovery ! Don’t miss this limited-time only exhibit, open at Port Discovery until May 7th. Thomas & Friends(TM) fans can climb aboard Thomas’ cab, fix wobbly wheels, pull levers, dress as a train conductor and more. Don’t miss the huge train table where you can build train tracks and play with friends new and old. This hands-on exhibit lets children’s imaginations go wild and engages children in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts in a fun way! Hop into Spring

Every year, Port Discovery sets aside days for children with special needs and their caretakers as part of the museum’s dedication to inclusive learning. The Museum staff lowers volume, sound effects, and lights, so that children with physical and cognitive abilities can truly enjoy the museum experience. Activities are designed for children with special needs, but all children are encouraged to join this fun-filled week. Children with IEP’s are welcome at this week’s events.
