If you are looking for the most sincere pumpkin patch; than Belvedere Plantation is the place to be. What better way to honor 50 years of Charles Schulz’s timeless Halloween tale than visiting Belvedere Plantation for this year’s theme, “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”

As you venture through the farm, you’ll have the opportunity to play a fun Peanut’s Themed BINGO game included with admission. It’s so much fun to take out your game board and scratch off numbers as you visit different attractions at the farm. If you get BINGO you are entered in a chance to win an all inclusive trip to Knott’s Berry Farm in California.

One of the first things that caught my son’s eye was the giant race track set up for Tractor and Extreme Pedal Cart racing. I love that there are different sized pedal carts/tractors for different ages, so that everyone including adults can get in on the fun. One person per ride so grab a cart and start your engines… well pedaling!

Grab a burlap sack and race to the top of the hill to slide down one of two thrilling slides; The Pumpkin Mountain or Big Slide. I love that the path up the side of the hill is made of concrete with grips paved in; perfect for traction so little legs can make the trek up the steep hill. There is also a friendly staff member at the top to help little ones get in position to slide down safely.

The Kiddie Play Ground is a great place for little ones age infant to school age to explore and play. I love that they had smaller version of the pedal carts for the younger ones to test out around a mini track. In the fenced in play area there were cattle swings, sandbox and tractors. Also, right next to the kid zone was the corn crib and Hay Mountain with a tunnel slide.

My boy’s favorite section was the Zippity Do and Kiddie swing area. My four year old was thrilled to pretend he was Superman as he glided on the zip line. All while his little brother watched happily bouncing and zipping around on the kiddie swings.

Don’t miss out on exploring the Fun Barn; where you will find the swing ropes. Have fun swinging and falling into a pile of hay. This is one of the farms original attractions. Also in the Fun Barn is the Paint Ball Challenge. I’m convinced my oldest son is a natural marksman; every shot he took he’d hit the bulls eye dead on.

The Jumping Pillow is the perfect place for the kiddos to let their energy out. Kids ages toddler to adult can bounce and jump until they are all tuckered out. We went on a day where it wasn’t over crowded but on days when it gets busy a staff member will assist with kids taking rounds to jump and making sure everyone is safe.

Hop aboard the Barrel Train, a big hit for the younger crowd. On the Barrel Train passengers will take a short ride pulled by a tractor.

The pig races are a hoot! Root on your favorite piggy to the finish line! Be sure you don’t miss this attraction; it’s one the whole family can enjoy. While you are in that section of the farm be sure to step at the Olde Barnyard to pet and feed the animals. There are quarter machines located conveniently throughout the petting area so you can interact and feed the animals.

I love all the little fun activities scattered about the farm like the Pumpkin Painting station, Spider Web, Corn Sling Shots and giant lawn board games. There is something unique and fun around every corner.

Don’t miss this year’s amazing Maize Maze that features Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang.  I don’t want to give all the secrets away. You will have to come to find out what the design is. There are two mazes to explore. The Little Farmers ‘Maze is the perfect attention span and skill for toddlers through preschool age. My boys were big fans of the Y Bridge with slide. Be sure to check the website for the Final Friday Flashlight Maze on November 4th. Brave the maze in the dark; bring your own flashlight and find your way out.

“Each year, the great pumpkin rises out of the pumpkin patch that he thinks is the most sincere. He’s gotta pick this one. You can look around and there’s not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far the eye can see.” Take a tractor-drawn wagon ride out to The Great Pumpkin Patch where you can pick the perfect pumpkins from the most sincere patch. I suggest ending your day with picking pumpkins; the tractor stops right at the market where you purchase pumpkins. They have an awesome all you can carry pumpkin deal for $29.99!
