Im always trying to find products that are environmentally friendly and natural/organic options for the health and safety of my family. These fashion bracelets are a highly appealing design to my kids, they were excited to wear a bracket/anklet that were fun colored. Unlike plastic brackets these are comfortable, so light weight you hardly recognize they are there. The package states that they last for 15 days after opening, most only last 7 days. These definitely helped to deter the mosquitoes. My kids had been outside the previous night and got eaten alive because we forgot bug spray. When I saw my bands had come in the mail it was just in time for national night out…I was excited to put them to the test. No new bites were found on myself or kids.
I love that you can size the band to fit individual wrist sizes. They fit my husbands large wrist and adjust small enough to fit around my kids tiny ankles. While I read reviews that the smell was strong. I would have to disagree; if you are holding it up to your nose it’s scent is powerful. However, if you wear it on your wrist or ankle the smell is a light citronella scent. Active ingredients include citronella, geranium, lavender and peppermint.
